Maximize Coordination and Collaboration
Consider
In-person time is sacred, so here's how we make the best use of our time together:
- After virtual Professional Development content has been consumed, we meet in-person.
- Overview of the PD hits the high points, areas of concern based on course feedback, new updates, and anything else requested by the learners.
- Then its on to collaboration and coordination... we use the rest of our time together for Guided Work sessions (think Defined Autonomy)
Why?
- Dedicated time in the calendar to do the work of State Assessment
- Allows learners to be fully-present in their other roles while on-campus
- Allows learners to learn from one another, to brainstorm, to problem-solve in a group of job-alike peers
